Broadband Internet in NE Ohio

Posted by on Jun 18, 2012 in Events

A few weeks back OnScene took on two special projects, one in Cincinnati with the Sycamore Community School District (coming soon) and one up in Cleveland with OneCommunity, a non-profit organization providing affordable, robust broadband technologies and related programs that accelerate the use of IT to transform health, education, workforce and government.

We were very impressed with the progress this organization has made by installing fiber optic cables around North East Ohio to help connect their community. Now that the heavy lifting has been done, the big question is, what’s next? Below we share some of the possibilities and views from key stakeholders and community supporters.

Stakeholders and Supporters

A big thanks to The Karcher Group for introducing us to this great initiative and partnering on this production.

Ugh, I am not prepared for all these emtnioos. It’s made worse by the fact that last week I was in NYC and visited the Metropolitan museum of Art and in the American wing they have a little version of that really handsome statue of Nathan (I think the actual one is in Boston, or somewhere) and he was all handsome and tragic and heroic looking and I basically started tearing up while my Dad and sister looked on in utter confusion *sigh*I definitely see a bit if resemblance to your Nathan and the statue though!
