Ohio Career Center Video Profiles

So, thanks to my new bff for the week (btw that week has passed, I’m kinda over it), Shane Haggerty, I just had the opportunity to visit a few career centers stationed around northeast Ohio.

This time of year is important for career center recruitment and educating high school sophomore students on program offerings. Each project request we received was slightly different, from profiling student bloggers, to telling the school’s story, to spotlighting programs, but all equally as interesting. There is some really amazing hands-on work happening at these career centers!

Partnering in the edit booth with fellow Columbus DSLR’ Andy Newman (check out his Built in Cbus project. It’s like this is columbus, but on visual steroids.), we’ve accepted the challenge of turning around a ton of quality content in a short amount of time. Away we go:

Mission #1: Produce a blogger intro video for Ohio Hi-Point Career Center

The most successful thing we did on this shoot was allow the students to participate in the production process. They interviewed one another and helped plan out shot sequences. Enjoy and encourage our youth!!!!

Thanks for sharing this video Eric! What did you think of the environmental graphics in the cafeteria?

Absolutely — just added your blog to my RSS reader this morning. By the way, your new site is nice. Quite an upgrade!

Yes, Mr. Haggerty asked me to help with brand development and environmental graphics for the cafe. If was enjoyable to work brand development for a space!

That week may have passed, but I am sure you will want me to be bffs again in the future!

    Excellent work on these!
